What is processed

Server logs at the hosting provider (Vercel), which record the IP address, timestamp, requested URL and user agent of each request. They exist to serve the site and to detect abuse, and are retained only for as long as the provider keeps them.

There is no analytics product on this site. No cookies are set. No fonts, scripts, images or embeds are requested from any third party — the typefaces are served from this domain precisely so that visiting a page does not disclose your IP address to anyone else.

The games keep your own results in your browser’s local storage on https://ex.versethera.com, so that you can see them next time. That data stays on your device, is never sent to us, and can be removed by clearing the site data for that address. See Cookies.

The interactive pieces

Some pieces use your camera to track hand position. They run in a sandboxed frame on https://ex.versethera.com, they ask for permission only after you choose to start them, and they process every frame locally in your browser. No image, no video and no derived landmark data is transmitted anywhere or stored. Closing the page ends it.

Legal basis

Server logs are processed on the basis of legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: operating the site, keeping it available, and detecting abuse. There is no profiling, no analytics, no advertising and no transfer of the data to a third party for any purpose of their own. Nothing on this site asks for consent, because nothing on it tracks you. What the games keep in your browser is described on the Cookies page, and each game tells you the first time it keeps anything.

The interactive pieces process no personal data at all in the legal sense. Camera frames and the hand positions derived from them exist only in the memory of your own browser, are never transmitted, and are gone when the page closes.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or erasure of any personal data concerning you, object to its processing, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Write to the address above.
